[Works] Superhero Info Cards
So I've been working a lot lately on my old webcomic, Protection. No new art yet, but I've done a lot of thinking and writing. But a few days ago I got stuck. I wanted to rearrange the storylines in the first arc of the comic, but they were just recorded in a text file. Not easy to move around intuitively. I thought it'd help if I had something physical representing each storyline, that I could glance at and move around at will...

The idea came, then grew. A quick purchase of index cards and highlighters at work, and I had:

[Maybe I can help you kids out a bit...]

Storyline info cards! For once, low-tech seems to be the best solution. (Justin would be horrified. XD) A bit more detail on them:

[...with my Storyline Info Cards!]

(Yes, Justin's laboratory counts as a "character".)

With these cards, I can see at a glance who's in each storyline; make sure characters' introductions come before their subsequent appearances; make sure I have a balance between superheroic stories and normal-life tales; and also balance the long, serious storylines with the short, silly ones.

Anyway, I've been feeling a bit depressed lately about work, life, and RP. So I wanted to post this to prove to myself that I'm managing creativity and accomplishing something. Feels nice. ^_^

I'd have suggested Zulupad, but this works.

It would count as one of your five good things for yesterday, even. [Hint, hint]
