[Life] Sometimes the Phone Gets You

I'm a bit annoyed right now. Just opened up my cell phone bill for the previous month. Due mostly to my time spent on hold with HP tech support, trying to get them to do something with my old tablet PC, I went 172 minutes over my alloted time. Total bill: $115.50. Considering the bill usually runs around $41... Yeah, not happy here. Between my paycheck yesterday and the checks I got for my birthday, I'm in no danger of going bankrupt, at least. Still. Grrr.

This cements my resolve to never buy an HP product again, ever. (Which will be difficult if I ever want a new printer, but oh well.) This's the last money I'm ever going to spend on them.

Feeling: pissed off pissed off

Oh, I know I've got the perfect quote here, if I can just find it... *searchsearch* Ah! There it is.

"Status dictates who waits. Making a person wait is an exercise in power. There is no greater symbol of domination, since time is the only possession which can in no sense be replaced."

Tempting idea. In the end, though, I really don't care enough to spend that much time and money fighting it. ^_^()

(And my mom's just been in contact with HP today, so something may actually happen. I'll post about that some time later.)

Yeowch.

Not as bad as when I was in the hospital and my mom used my cell phone to make all kinds of phone calls to friends and relatives for 2+ weeks. o.O She didn't tell me until we got the bill and couldn't hide it anymore.

Um, wow. That's... impressively short-sighted. Like, on a par with trying to hide your grades from your parents. You know they're gonna find out sooner or later, so why bother? I hope she at least paid you back for the time she used.

No problem. ^_^ I was just thinking "What could I recommend?" and I looked around the room... and saw a Lexmark Z22, a Lexmark 3200, and a Lexmark Optra R+. ^_^;;
