So, 2011. It... sure was a year. Lots of ups and downs, and I can't really say I wouldn't take a do-over if it were offered to me. But there were absolutely good points about it. Chief among them, of course, was the one thing I did get motivated enough to post about: my decision to finally set a time for moving down to Georgia to be with my girlfriend. Progress toward that has been slow, but I'm making it, a bit at a time. And in between my periods of failure in the realm of RP, there were periods of great enjoyment. I've made a lot of new friends thanks to my two games, both in and out of the casts my characters belong to.
What's in store for 2012? Haha, I wish I knew. I generally don't do the resolution thing, but I do have a few plans in mind. My creative side has been stagnant for a long while, and I want to get it sparked again. Whether it's art, fiction, music, code -- I want to create more. I want to return to school with a vengeance, and show my last two classes in Michigan exactly who's boss. I want to finally get my driver's license. I want to get more active in RP and play out some of the various things I've been wanting to do for ages. I want to move in with my girlfriend, the girl I know I'll be with for the rest of my life. I want to eat better and exercise more. I want to keep my apartment cleaner. I want to make more friends, and get closer to the friends I have now.
Whew, when I put it like that, I want a lot of things out of 2012. Well, there's only one way for me to get them.
Happy New Year, everyone. May 2012 treat us all well. If you're reading this, you deserve no less.
